Why TrustedAI

We focus exclusively on AI governance, risk, and cybersecurity. Our work sits at the intersection of AI, enterprise risk management, regulation, and security, so you can scale AI with confidence, not blind optimism.

Governance First

We start from your risk appetite, regulatory obligations, and business strategy. AI governance is tailored to how your organization actually operates.

Security by Design

We treat AI as a new attack surface, integrating AI-specific threat models, secure architecture, and incident playbooks into the AI lifecycle.

Regulatory Alignment

We align AI programs with ISO/IEC 42001, NIST AI RMF, EU AI Act, and sector requirements in financial services, healthcare, and insurance.

Leadership

Pamela Gupta — Founder, Trusted AI. Creator of the AI TIPS framework. Author of The AI Trust Layer.

Pamela Gupta created the AI TIPS framework in 2019, four years before the NIST AI Risk Management Framework, on a conviction she stated then and stands on now: we cannot realize the full potential of AI without building trust in AI.

She is a recipient of the ISACA Joseph J. Wasserman Award for excellence in governance, risk, and security, and holds the CISSP, CISM, CSSLP, and AIGP certifications. Her career spans global security leadership for Fortune 500 enterprises and advisory work across financial services, healthcare, and technology. She chairs the GenAI Stage at the World AI Summit in New York and publishes the Trustworthy AI Briefing and the Trustworthy AI Podcast.

Her book, The AI Trust Layer: De-Risking the Adoption of Enterprise AI, publishes in August 2026 with forewords by Jim Reavis, CEO of the Cloud Security Alliance, and Khwaja Shaik, IBM CTO and board director.

Pamela’s focus at Trusted AI is the framework, the research, and the writing: AI TIPS, its 8 pillars and 243 controls, its regulatory crosswalks to the EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF, ISO 42001, and CSA AICM, and the Trust Index methodology built on them.

Client Testimonials

“We had an AI ethics policy collecting dust and a legal team that couldn’t translate it into operational guardrails. Pamela didn’t give us another framework to hang on the wall — she gave us a governance structure our engineering and product teams actually use every sprint.”

VP of Engineering Fortune 500 Financial Services

“Our board kept asking whether our AI was ‘safe’ and nobody could give them a straight answer. After working with Trusted AI, our CRO presents a quarterly AI risk dashboard that the board actually understands and our insurers accept.”

Chief Risk Officer Global Insurance Company

“We were paralyzed. Eighteen AI pilots, zero in production, because nobody could articulate the risk appetite. Pamela helped us build a decision framework that got three models into production within 90 days — with full governance documentation.”

SVP of Digital Transformation Healthcare Payer Organization

“We operate in 14 states and the EU. Every law firm gave us a different compliance matrix. Pamela gave us one governance foundation that maps to all of them — Colorado SB 205, the EU AI Act, ISO 42001, and our own internal risk taxonomy. When regulations change, we adjust the mapping, not the entire program.”

General Counsel Multinational Technology Company

“When the new executive order dropped, half our compliance team panicked and the other half said it didn’t matter. Pamela was the only advisor who explained exactly what changed, what didn’t, and what we needed to do by specific deadlines. That clarity is worth more than any retainer fee.”

Head of AI Compliance Top-10 U.S. Bank

“Every AI governance consultant we talked to wanted to sell us a maturity assessment and a 200-page report. Pamela started by asking what business outcomes we were trying to protect and worked backward from there. Six months in, our AI incident response time dropped by 60% and we passed our first SOC 2 + AI controls audit.”

CISO Mid-Market SaaS Company

“I’ve attended dozens of AI governance panels. Most are recycled talking points. Pamela is the only speaker I’ve seen who can take a breaking regulatory development and explain — in real time — what it means for enterprise operations. She doesn’t just know the frameworks; she knows how they hit the P&L.”

Conference Attendee World AI Summit NYC

“I subscribed to Pamela’s newsletter expecting another compliance roundup. Instead I get the sharpest weekly analysis of what’s actually changing in AI governance — with specific action steps, not just commentary. I’ve forwarded more of her issues to my leadership team than any other source.”
