FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Former Fortune 100 technology leader and Global Council for Responsible AI ambassador joins Trusted AI to help organizations turn AI governance into measurable controls, accountability, and business value.
Shelton, CT, October 22, 2026: Trusted AI, an AI governance and risk advisory firm and creator of the AI TIPS™ framework and Trust Index, today announced the appointment of Tina Lampe as Managing Director, Responsible AI Advisory.
The appointment expands Trusted AI’s leadership and advisory capabilities as organizations face increasing pressure to move beyond responsible AI policies and establish effective governance, risk management, and accountability across their AI initiatives.
As enterprises accelerate AI adoption, most initiatives stall or fail because the organization has no process to identify AI risks. When AI-specific risks are not prioritized against business risks, industry requirements, and regulations, initiatives fail, or lead to fines and litigation.
Bringing Enterprise Technology Leadership to Responsible AI
Tina brings more than 25 years of experience leading large-scale technology transformations for Fortune 100 companies, including a $40 million systems overhaul and $4.7 million in cost elimination during a major corporate divestiture.
Most recently, she served as Director, IT Software Engineering at DIRECTV. She holds CISSP, CISM, AAISM, and PMP certifications and a master’s degree in cybersecurity from Maryville University.
Tina is a Global Ambassador and executive leader with the Global Council for Responsible AI, serves on the boards of ISACA St. Louis and InfraGard St. Louis, and speaks widely on responsible AI innovation, cybersecurity, and enterprise transformation.
At Trusted AI, Tina will help organizations operationalize the AI TIPS™ framework and Trust Index through AI governance assessments, executive education, implementation advisory, and enterprise risk management programs.
“AI adoption is accelerating, but governance and accountability are not keeping pace,” said Pamela Gupta, Founder and CEO of Trusted AI. “Boards need to know which AI risks matter, whether their controls are effective, and what evidence supports their decisions.”
“Tina brings the enterprise transformation experience, cybersecurity leadership, and execution discipline needed to help organizations translate AI governance into practice. Her appointment is an important step in expanding Trusted AI’s ability to serve organizations navigating this challenge.”
“Organizations want to move quickly with AI, and they need governance that keeps up,” said Tina Lampe, Managing Director, Responsible AI Advisory at Trusted AI. “AI governance must be practical, measurable, and integrated into how organizations make decisions and manage risk. I am excited to help organizations put responsible AI into practice, not just policy.”
Advancing Practical AI Governance
Trusted AI helps organizations bridge the gap between AI innovation and effective governance through its proprietary AI TIPS™ framework and Trust Index.
Created in 2019, AI TIPS™ provides a structured approach to identifying, assessing, and managing AI-specific risks across eight pillars of trust: Cybersecurity, Privacy, Ethics and Bias, Transparency, Explainability, Regulations and Compliance, Audit, and Accountability.
The framework includes 80 controls crosswalked to leading AI governance and risk management standards and guidance, including the EU AI Act, NIST AI Risk Management Framework, ISO/IEC 42001, CSA AI Controls Matrix, and the OWASP Agentic Skills Top 10, where AI TIPS is the governance crosswalk.
The Trust Index provides a structured approach to assessing control effectiveness and measuring residual risk, helping executives and boards make informed decisions about AI deployment, oversight, and business value.
A Blueprint for Faster AI Adoption
Pamela Gupta’s book, De-Risking AI Adoption: The AI Trust Layer: An AI Governance Playbook, gives organizations a much-needed blueprint for moving faster with AI.
The book shows leaders how to identify the AI risks that matter and put the right safeguards in place, so AI initiatives move forward instead of stalling.
Its forewords are by Jim Reavis, co-founder and CEO of the Cloud Security Alliance; Khwaja Shaik of IBM; and Dr. Paul Dongha, co-author of Governing the Machine. Every chapter closes with Questions for the Boardroom.
Group copies for boards, executive teams and associations are available at https://www.trustedai.ai/book/.
