Starting an AI Governance Program in Your Company
Start your AI governance program. Leave with a plan you can run.
Most AI initiatives fail because AI-specific risks are not identified or prioritized, and organizations lack defensible evidence to determine whether a system is trustworthy enough for its intended use.
The question I hear most is simple. Where do we start?
This workshop answers it. In three live sessions, I take you from a blank page to a working AI governance program. You leave with the structure, the owners and a 90-day plan.

Format: three live virtual sessions

Who it is for
Leaders asked to stand up AI governance in their company. That includes legal, security, data science, audit, compliance and management. Teams are welcome to attend together.
What you leave with
- An AI inventory and intake template
- An AI council charter and ownership map
- A starter control set with evidence requirements
- A 90-day plan for your program
- A signed, printed copy of my book, De-Risking AI Adoption: The AI Trust Layer: An AI Governance Playbook
The three sessions
- Session 1. Know what you are governing. Build your AI inventory and intake process. Identify the AI-specific risks that matter across the eight pillars of AI TIPS™. Tier your use cases by risk.
- Session 2. Decide who owns what. Set up your AI council and decision rights across legal, security, data science, audit, compliance and management. Apply the four conditions for a defensible AI decision: ownership, controls, evidence and decision rights.
- Session 3. Put controls and evidence in place. Choose a starter set of controls. Define the evidence each stakeholder needs. Build your 90-day plan and your first report to leadership and the board.
